Choral Society & Youth Chorus In Japanese: 午後は11時から始まっていた催し物「Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration」で孫の子供合唱団Kona Choral Society Youth Chorus, Dir. Wendy Buzbyが「Dear Candle of Hope」を歌うので、旧飛行場パヴィリオンへいってきた。様々な歌と踊りと祈りのグループが出演しているために、駐車場がすごい混んでいた。何とコナ合唱協会も、参加できるボランティアが「I’m Gonna to Live So God Can Use Me」、「Amen, Amen」、「Be A Candle of Light」を歌っていて、私はこのイベントがあるのを知らなかった！ 今年は翌月曜日（01/15、1月の第3月曜日）がMLK Jr. Dayの全米祝日で、これからひと月は「Dr. MLK Memorial Month」で、彼は黒人の公民権運動で活躍途中の1968年に暗殺されたが、今は全人種が平等になるようにとのコナの委員会で計画しているイベント。私は2月2日に合唱団で歌う予定。 (2018.01.14.) 3b. 3c. Kona Youth Choruses Concert May 11,

Halawai, Kailua Kona, Hawaii In Japanese: 子供の合唱団は、私の上の子が去年の9月から（練習は木曜日午後）、下の子は今年1月から（土曜日8:30）へ連れていっているが、その発表会が16:00からハワイ郡施設のハレ・ハラワイで行われた。Youth Chorusesには年齢別に３つあり、まずChildren’s Chorus（上の孫が参加で彼女はよく歌っていた）がTwo Jets for Fun、Tick-Toch Clock、The Animals Went in Two by Two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vuhy33admZI （ノアの箱舟の揶揄唱歌でみんなは笑っていたが、その時私はよく聞こえず分からなかった）、次にYouth ChorusがIf I Could Catch a Rainbow、Kyrie Gregorianus、Fairest Lady、River in Judeaを歌い、次にPrimary Chorus（下の孫が参加で彼は歌より動作が光っていた）がHead and Shouldersを遊戯しながら歌い、最後に子供たち全員でRhythm of Life、Ulili E（ハワイ独特の鳥の歌） https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIQAJyXamoE を歌った。大人のコナ合唱協会の練習にも来ているWendy Buzbyが指導・指揮をしたもので、満員の聴衆で楽しんだ。終わって、知り合いの誕生日会が近くのMi’s Restaurantであり、子供たちも一緒だったので心配だったが、案の定の多少の大騒ぎになって、でもイタリア料理（私はラヴィオリ）を食べて楽しんだ。 (2018.05.11.) 4.
